Responsibilities

 

● Prepare and fulfil orders for shipping or collection in line with daily schedules.

 

● Receive, process, and maintain accurate warehouse stock records.

 

● Keep the workspace clean and safe, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

 

● Identify and report any stock discrepancies promptly.

 

● Handle and process the full range of products sold via our website and other marketplaces.

 

● Support the implementation of new systems and suggest innovative ideas to improve operations.

 

● Collaborate effectively with team members to maintain a positive and productive warehouse environment.

 

 

 

The Ideal Candidate

 

● Solid understanding of e-commerce operations, delivery processes, and inventory control.

 

● Previous experience in a busy warehouse environment with expertise in order processing and stock management.

 

● Strong background in logistics and operations management.

 

● Confident using digital tools and systems to manage tasks efficiently.

 

● Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all work.

 

● Able to work under pressure, take initiative, and maintain high performance in a fast-paced environment.

 

● Professional and reliable, with excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.

 

 

 

 


The annual base salary for this role is £28,000–£32,000 (based on skills and experience). Applicants must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom at the time of application. This position operates within a formal office environment, where professional dress is required at all times. To maintain focus and productivity, personal mobile phone use is limited to the lunch break, and snacking is not permitted during working hours.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic and growing company as a Warehouse Operations Specialist. You will play a critical role in managing daily stockroom activities, ensuring efficient order processing and maintaining optimal stock levels in our Birmingham office warehouse.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Order Preparation: Prepare and complete orders for shipping or pickup according to schedule.
Stock Management: Receive, process, and maintain warehouse stock with high accuracy.
Workplace Safety: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring all health and safety regulations are followed.
Discrepancy Reporting: Identify and report any discrepancies in inventory.
Product Handling: Process the full range of items sold on our website and other marketplaces.
System Implementation: Assist in implementing new systems and pitch innovative ideas for operational improvement.
Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team in our office's warehouse, contributing to a collaborative and supportive work environment.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

E-commerce and Inventory Control: Knowledge of e-commerce operations, delivery flow, and inventory control.
Warehouse Experience: Previous experience in a busy warehouse environment with a solid understanding of ordering, stock management, and order processing.
Logistics and Operations Management: Strong background in logistics and operations management.
Digital Literacy: Good level of digital literacy, comfortable using various software and systems.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring high accuracy in all tasks.
Work Under Pressure: Ability to work under pressure and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
Professionalism: Demonstrated professionalism in the workplace, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

 

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year (based on skills and experience)
Bonus System: Performance-based bonuses, with guaranteed 6-month bonuses paid in June and December.
Uniform Allowance: Compulsory wearing of formal office attire with an annual uniform allowance of £800.
Phone Usage: Personal phones are not to be used during working hours, only permissible during lunch breaks.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8:30am - 5:30pm), with a 1-hour lunch break.
Holidays: 20 days of annual leave, plus bank holidays.
