Luminera Hydryalix Ultra Deep Lidocaine is an injectable, sterile, apyrogenic gel intended for soft tissue augmentation. It is composed of cross-linked hyaronic acid from a non-animal source. The gel is latex-free, viscoelastic, clear, transparent and bio-degradable. Luminera Hydryalix Ultra Deep is recommended for the correction of deep facial wrinkles and folds such as nasolabial folds and for the remodelling of facial contours. It is to be injected into the deep dermis, subcutaneous and/or at the pre-periosteal area. Hydryalix Ultra Deep is contraindicated for injection into the periorbital area (e.g. eyelids, bags under the eyes, eye wrinkles), glabella or periocular area, lips and perioral region, superficial and mid dermis and superficial wrinkles. This dermal filler contains lidocaine to reduce patient during treatment.
Luminera Hydryalix technology gives the advantages of both monophasic cross linking and biphasic gel properties. Monophasic gel is homogenously cross linked, generates a smooth, uniform gel, which lowers side effects, such as swelling and the Tyndall effect, and uses less BDDE for the cross-linking process. The particle nature of the gel gives the ability to shape the injected material to the desired shape in the tissue and gives the product its firmness.
