Responsibilities

● Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, favourable terms, and exclusive product deals.
● Partner with manufacturers to create high-quality private-label products that meet brand and market requirements.
● Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to optimise inventory levels, ensuring product availability while controlling costs.
● Ensure all products meet strict quality and compliance standards, adhering to beauty industry regulations and certifications.
● Work with cross-functional teams to grow the business through strategic partnerships and product expansion initiatives.
The Ideal Candidate
● Minimum of 5 years’ experience in procurement within the beauty, aesthetics, or related industries.
● Proven track record in sourcing and private labelling beauty or aesthetics products.
● Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills with a history of securing favourable supplier agreements.
● Highly adaptable, able to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
● Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and inform strategic decisions.
● Demonstrated success in procurement, including contributing to the acquisition of £5 million+ worth of beauty and aesthetics products in prior roles.
The annual base salary for this role is £38,000–£100,000 (based on skills and experience). Applicants must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom at the time of application. This position operates within a formal office environment, where professional dress is required at all times. To maintain focus and productivity, personal mobile phone use is limited to the lunch break, and snacking is not permitted during working hours.

Job Overview:
As a Beauty & Aesthetics Procurement Specialist in our dynamic business, you will play a pivotal role in acquiring and overseeing international agreements with suppliers and strategic partners, aligning with our brand’s focus on beauty and aesthetics products. Your responsibilities will include strategy development, relationship management, sourcing premium beauty and aesthetics products, market trend analysis, and contract negotiation. A key component of this role is seeking opportunities for private labeling and expanding our product line with own-brand products, enhancing our market position and brand recognition. You will work closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and cross-functional teams to ensure we deliver high-quality beauty and aesthetics products to our discerning clientele. The role may include international travel during the buying season to solidify and expand our brand connections.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with luxury product suppliers and manufacturers to ensure reliable and consistent procurement.
2. Product Sourcing & Expansion: Identify and source premium beauty and aesthetics products that align with our brand values and market demands. Actively seek opportunities for private labelling and own-brand products to expand our product range.
3. Market Research & Trend Analysis: Stay ahead of industry trends by conducting in-depth market research to inform product selection and procurement strategies, focusing on innovative beauty products and private-label opportunities.
4. Negotiation & Cost Management: Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favourable terms, pricing, and exclusive deals for beauty and aesthetics products.
5. Private Labelling: Develop partnerships with manufacturers and suppliers to create private-label products that meet our standards and market needs, helping to grow our in-house product line.
6. Inventory Optimisation: Work closely with logistics and operations teams to optimise inventory levels, ensuring timely product availability while minimising costs.
7. Quality Assurance: Ensure all products meet the highest quality standards, including adherence to relevant beauty industry regulations and certifications.
8. Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with internal teams to drive growth through strategic partnerships and product expansion initiatives, with a focus on private labelling.
Key Capabilities :
- At least 5 years of experience in beauty, aesthetics, or related procurement fields
- Strong experience in sourcing and private labeling beauty or aesthetics products
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a results-oriented mindset
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and make informed decisions
- Proven experience in beauty or aesthetics procurement, including assisting in the acquisition of over £5 million worth of beauty and aesthetics products in previous roles
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8:30 – 5:30), 1-hour lunch break
Holidays: 20 days a year plus bank holidays
Job Type: Full-time
Salary Range: £38,000 - £100,000 annually
Salary based on skills and experience. Bonus scheme, with a definite 6-month bonus (every June and December)
Must wear formal office attire (uniform allowance £800 per year)
Personal phones must not be used for any purpose during working hours, only allowed to be used during lunchtime (no snacking during the working hours)
